Dopo l’arrivo del sito ufficiale e del teaser di presentazione e averlo visto in anteprima in questo articolo in occasione del MWC 2011, Toshiba ha svelato le caratteristiche tecniche ufficiali della propria soluzione tablet da 10 pollici. Toshiba 10.1 adotterà un display con diagonale da 10 pollici a LED, offrirà una risoluzione di 1280 x 800 con rapporto di 16:10 per un miglior compromesso nella fruizione di film e giochi, sistema Android Honeycomb 3.0, chipset NVIDIA Tegra 2 a 1 Ghz, supporto ad Adobe Flash 10.2 e ai contenuti multimediali in alta definizione.
Il reparto fotografico è affidato ad una fotocamera posteriore da 5 Mpxl e ad una anteriore da 2 Mpxl con cui è possibile effettuare video chat; le riprese video arrivano fino alla risoluzione di 720p e non mancheranno, sistema GPS, giroscopio, bussola digitale, sensore di luminosità, accelerometro, connettività Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n e bluetooth 2.1 + A2DP.
Sulla parte laterale possiamo intravedere una porta USB host, jack da 3,5 mm, porta HDMI e anche un lettore di schede SD, mentre dal lato opposto troveremo il pulsante ON/OFF, bilanciere del volume e un pulsante per bloccare la visuale in modalità portrait o landscape.
